I’ve been trying to bring some new routines into my life. I am trying to find ways to unwind in the evening without watching TV or perusing the internet. Word Searches are becoming a favorite and I’ve been trying to flip through some magazines that have been piling up, but never get a chance to browse. Recently, during my beloved new routine, I was browsing a Woman’s Day magazine. I bought it to read on the beach during my 2014 Family Summer Vacation, but that never happened. The vacation happened, but the down time did not. Once children enter your life, it seems as though vacations turn into trips. Does anyone else agree? For me, the days are so busy with activities in hopes of giving my children lasting memories, that by evening, I am thoroughly exhausted. There is no down time. Anyway, I made it a point to read the magazine a few nights ago and discovered a recipe that I just had to try. I took the kids bowling today and we headed straight to the grocery store so I could pick up the ingredients. It was super easy to make and packed full of flavor.
I searched Womansday.com to see if I could find the recipe and I was successful. The only difference in the recipe posted online was that it called for corn kernels, but the recipe in my magazine did not.
