Before I begin, I would like to note that you can find almost all of the products that I used in these projects by clicking on the shop tab in the menu bar above and checking out the “crafting with kids” section, or by viewing the link that I will include at the end of this post.
There are days when my kids will spend hours crafting and it’s heavenly! I like to show them how to do certain projects based on the season we are in. Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, I thought it would be cool if we created some masterpieces using hearts. I put a little music on, pulled out the supplies and we crafted away. My 3-year-old boy has learned to love crafting. It wasn’t always that way, but his attention span is getting a little bigger each day. Ha! He made it through the first project and then he decided that running, jumping and kicking a soccer ball would be much more fun. Boys are SO active! 🙂 He burned off some energy and showed up for the final project. All of the projects were low maintenance. If you have scissors, glue sticks, construction paper, markers, craft store eyes and pipe cleaners you will be able to make every single one of them. Let’s take a look at my crafters in action and some of the finished pieces.
Well, what do you think? Aren’t the projects adorable?! Let me know if you give any of these craft projects a try. If you would like to subscribe to my blog so you receive all of my posts directly in your inbox, you may do so on the right side of this page.
