She hand-crafts jewelry and accessories using vintage and re-purposed materials, including vintage earrings, chains, books, buttons, flowers, and much more. Each item made is uniquely one of a kind, making it an affordable piece of wearable art. Lucy is also a speech-language pathologist at a suburban elementary school. I know!! Amazing, right?

In April 2011, bel monili created a custom design to be auctioned at the first annual TEALtini event for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Pittsburgh Chapter. In June 2011, bel monili’s flower pins were featured in the giveaway bags at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Say what?? Awesome!! bel monili is on a roll, and with Lucy’s drive and contagious energy, it will only continue.

Expression Rings of Hope Expression Rings of Hope was founded by Holly Freese in May 2010, after her best friend’s husband, Mike Kacysnki died of Renal Cell Carcinoma after a 3 month battle, at the young age of 29. He left behind a wife and a daughter. Holly wanted to do something to make a difference; to help find a cure for cancer, so she began creating swarovski crystal rings to sell. A portion of the proceeds from each ring sale is donated to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research or a Cancer Research Foundation of her choice, in Mike Kacynski’s name. Holly is a wife and stay-at-home mother to two boys. I had the pleasure of meeting her a year ago when I purchased my first ring (Marry Me) at a show. She is the sweetest person with the biggest heart. Holly’s business has grown so much since I met her! Many celebrities have been spotted wearing her rings. She was invited to bring her rings to the Treat Lounge at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012. Her rings were included in the 2012 Golden Globes Swag Bags that all attending celebrities receive. And, most recently, Holly was invited to Hollywood during the 2013 Golden Globes to feature her rings in a gifting suite. Ahhhh-mazing!! Holly’s spirit and determination is unbelievable! She continues to take her business to the next level and raise money for cancer research. Holly is currently planning Expression Rings of Hope First Annual Golf Outing that will take place on June 22, 2013 in Grand Rapids, MI. The event will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure . Jill Markijohn is the founder and creator of Handmade JILLry. Jewelry making has always been a hobby she has enjoyed immensely. In 2007, she started creating the Crystal Puffed Heart to give as gifts to family and friends. The gift receivers loved the hearts so much, Jill started receiving custom order requests, which inspired her to sell her jewelry to friends and family for the next 6 years. In 2011, Jill and her husband were blessed with the birth of their little girl. She resigned from her Kindergarten teaching position to become a full SAHM. At that point, she revamped her business and opened up her Etsy Shop.
