Ok, I admit it, I am a bit of a clean freak! With that being said, my definition of “clean” has changed tremendously since having children and running a business. Before children, I use to have a strict weekly cleaning schedule. A cleaning schedule is non-existent now. I clean when I find the time and I let a lot more slide than I use to. 2 months ago if you were down on your hands and knees looking at my kitchen area rug, you would have saw crumbs all over the place. That was one of my BIGGEST pet peaves! I have an area rug that is predominantly black (as you can see in the photo below), and it shows every crumb and fuzz! And let me tell you, with two children 3 and under, there are a lot of those these days! It was so annoying to haul out my vacuum cleaner after each meal. So, I would let crumbs sit there ALL day (this is HUGE for me) until I vacuumed ONCE at night. That is…….until THIS beauty entered my life. I introduce to you The Bissell Sweep Up Cordless Sweeper.
I use to have a Rechargeable Hand Vacuum. Maybe it was defected because It NEVER worked. So it sat in my laundry room and collected dust for about 5 years until I redecorated my laundry room and FINALLY got rid of it!
I found this amazing sweeper at Kohls.com when it was 20% off, only $20.00, a little pricier than the Bissell Website, but I had Kohl’s cash that I earned from Christmas shopping that I needed to use. (Seriously, who doesn’t LOVE Kohl’s? Clearance, Coupons, Kohl’s Cash, Deals, Free Shipping; that can be another post!) Anyways, I LOVE it!! It does a GREAT job! I keep it in my laundry room and if I notice crumbs after my kids are done eating, I pull it out and the crumbs are gone in seconds! No unwinding a cord, no plugging a cord in, no LOUD noise! Simplicity!!
